Baasic Food Styling & Food Photography Workshop for Dietician n Catering Officer

Seminar entitled "Everything starts with a Menu" organized by the Dietetic and Catering Department of Selangor Hospital have invited me to give a talk on "Know Your Customer" and to conduct a workshop on "Basic Food Styling and Food Photography" on the 09th October 2012. The event taken place at Dewan Ilmiah, Pusat Kawalan Kusta, Sungai Buluh, Kuala Lumpur. Thanks to the organizing committee who have invited me, felt really honored. Although it was for short while but it was a fun sharing moment.

Trend and Style

Today, a simple, neat, fresh, natural and light approach is the trend in food styling and photography. Foods presented to see it imperfection, along with the use of selective focus and composition technique as well as close-ups which resulted to fewer props being used. And, this techniques introduced or developed by food stylist  and photographer alike have become an acceptable standard in the industry. Along with that, there are an increase demand for the need of high quality digital food photography - in packaging, advertising, editorial as well as internet.
